Responsibilities at Svitlo:

• Prefect - I’m responsible for the study process going properly in the Career Success course 
• Head of Facebook - I actively take part in the Communication & Cooperation department and recently became responsible for the successful sharing of our school opportunities on one of the social media platforms 
• Reading Buddy- I’m running weekly lessons for the young students and helping them to improve their skills of understanding the text and pronunciation with grammar points 
• Content Creator- I absolutely enjoy creating different types of content for TikTok, which includes both video filming and editing 

‍Future Plans:

I would like to achieve a First Steps in English teacher position, because I’m extremely excited about being a Reading Buddy, it gives me a lot of motivation to continue bringing some use to the School and Ukrainian children and I’m ready to continue my pathway. I also admire the students who run their own study courses in the topic they know well, so that’s one more reason to teach being an experienced tutor.

Impact of Svitlo:

First of all, Svitlo means community to me. From my first day at the school I was surrounded by supportive people, who share my hobbies, values, and interests. In a few months all of them became a real family to me, and day by day our connections became stronger. No less significant are opportunities to grow, make impact, improve your personality. I’m truly amazed by the number of chances to communicate with each other, especially with younger students, develop your soft skills and be useful in completely different ways. It makes me feel needed and appreciated.
