Responsibilities at Svitlo:

• I am a Reading Buddy, where I help children improve their English through reading books together, making the learning process engaging and enjoyable.
• Head of First Steps in English & Teacher — I support beginners in learning English from scratch, while also coordinating and managing the overall process of this program.
• I am part of the Communication and Cooperation Department, where I help spread information about Svitlo School through social media and increase its visibility.
• I also work as a TikTok Content Editor, creating and editing videos to promote the school and engage the audience.
• I am a Manager at Svitlo News, where I oversee and regulate the process of creating the school newspaper, ensuring smooth teamwork and content production.
• I am a participant of the Global Social Leaders Project, where we collaborate as a team to develop impactful initiatives.
• I serve as a Buddy for both younger and older groups, helping newcomers adapt to the school environment and supporting them throughout their journey.
• I am a Prefect of the Speakers’ Corner lesson, taking on a leadership role similar to a class representative by helping manage and organize the lesson.
• I am a Mafia Game Host, where I organize and lead interactive sessions, creating an engaging and inclusive atmosphere for students.
• I take part in organizing birthday celebrations for Svitlo teachers, contributing to a warm and supportive school community.
• I also assist in running the Virtue Channel, it is a channel of our Svitlo teacher Andrea, where we share and promote important values such as kindness, perseverance, and other personal qualities.

‍Future Plans:

My future plans are to build a life that feels  meaningful, balanced, and full of growth. I aim to enter a university that inspires me, choose a field that genuinely interests me, and continue developing both academically and personally.

I want to explore different opportunities, try myself in various areas, and gain diverse life experiences that will help me better understand who I am and what I truly want to achieve. For me, growth comes from trying, learning, and not being afraid to change direction when needed.

In the future, I want to create a life where I feel happy and confident, a life shaped by my choices, my values, and my willingness to keep moving forward.

Impact of Svitlo:

Svitlo School has given me incredible opportunities to grow and develop in many areas. First, it has allowed me to improve my English and practice it with native speakers, which has strengthened both my language skills and my confidence in using them.

The school also encourages me to explore my interests and participate in a wide range of programs that are globally recognized and truly valuable. These experiences have helped me develop new skills, challenge myself, and discover passions I might not have found otherwise.

Through Svitlo, I have also had the chance to travel abroad, connect with international students, and expand my worldview . These experiences have helped me build meaningful connections, improve my language abilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around me.

Beyond academic and international opportunities, Svitlo has allowed me to find friends from Ukraine and build a supportive community within the school.

Overall, Svitlo is more than just a school — it is a place that inspires growth, supports exploration, and opens doors to endless possibilities, helping me become the person I am today and guiding me toward the person I want to become.
