How Svitlo students rate their teachers and learning
Svitlo School has educated more than 4,000 children since March 2022, and 1,500 students attended in 2025–2026. Every year we ask our students what they think of Svitlo. These are the results of our most recent survey, answered anonymously by 112 students in July 2026.

Who teaches at Svitlo School?
Every teacher at Svitlo is a volunteer and a native English speaker, from the UK, the USA, Canada, South America, India, New Zealand and beyond. All of them are fully vetted and follow our safeguarding policy.
MJ is a retired educator from the USA who teaches Media Literacy and Government.
Leslie is Svitlo’s Head of Marketing. She is from Scotland and teaches Leadership Skills.
Alison is a retired university lecturer from London and teaches Story Time.
Michael is a retired Managing Director in finance and teaches Career Success.

Semester I: August 26 – September 11, 2026
Semester II: October 21 – October 30, 2026
Semester III: December 23, 2026 – January 1, 2027
Semester IV: February 10 – February 19, 2027
Semester V: March 31 – April 9, 2027
Semester VI: May 26 – June 4, 2027
Our calendar of the academic year
Registration algorithm:
1. Registration using the Telegram bot — you will receive a link after the webinar;
1.1. Providing personal data for the application;
1.2. Agreeing to the Rules and Conditions of Svitlo School in the short quiz format;
1.3. Document verification via a photo scan in the bot (data protected and not stored on servers);
1.4. Telegram group joining;
2. Registration on the learning platform and familiarization with instructions for its use;
3. Joining our communities on social media.
You choose how to build your own learning schedule. With a wide selection of lessons (up to 8 per day), you can create an individual timetable that fully matches your interests.
The first week - “the shopping week” - is a great time to try everything and figure out your priorities. From the second week onward, you will choose your favorite lessons and attend them regularly.
By participating in our “House system” motivation program, you can not only study but also receive recognition for your achievements. Ask questions, present your ideas, get involved - for every activity you earn points and get closer to achieving your goals!
Applications are open to submission until the beginning of the "shopping week" of each semester.
