Kate is a teacher with the older group and joined Svitlo School almost a year ago. Kate found out about Svitlo School through her neighbour Sunny, who also teaches discussions here. She wanted to help Ukrainians in some way, so she decided to join and teach a discussion session. During the discussion class, students hold debates on various topics, and those who wish to prepare presentations and materials for the lessons. "In Svitlo School, the students are incredible," she says.
Kate is now retired. She likes gardening, walking, reading, and also likes going to the theatre.
