Joyce Burns is a teacher for the younger group. For young students, she is developing an English from Ireland course. Her job is to help pupils understand the use of the English language. Joyce believes that the beauty of the English language is that it can be used as a tool to explore any topic. In her class, students talk about different topics such as culture, places, food, history, and any other topics that interests children.
Mrs. Burns is from Ireland where people are generally friendly and talkative, even to strangers. Joyce is sensitive to others, and her genuine passion in life is her faith in Jesus. She is married to Liam Burns who also teaches at Svitlo School. She has never been skydiving! She teaches at Svitlo because she wants to help children caught up in a horrible war.
