Christine Stanley has been working with older students in our school since summer 2022, and what strikes her the most is the amazing students with their efforts, enthusiasm, and positivity. She hopes to meet some, if not all of them, in the near future, under very different circumstances in Ukraine.
With nearly 15 years of experience as an EAL teacher, teaching is her passion. Recently, Christine has started her own business tutoring in the UK and overseas via Zoom. When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and her beautiful Golden Retriever, Charlie. Charlie is usually with her in her office and has become a familiar presence to the students, often seen sleeping nearby. Christine has many passions, but the ones she spends most of her time on are listening to music and playing golf. Although her golfing and singing skills are both lacking, she doesn't rely on them for a living, so Tiger Woods and Beyonce can rest easy knowing Christine is not a threat.
In her classes, students will be able to improve their knowledge of English and will mostly speak, and sometimes write, a lot about different interesting topics. Also, lessons are tailored to individual needs with an emphasis on making learning memorable.
