Hello everyone!

We’re Varvara and Maria 🥰 This summer we had an incredible opportunity to go to the Discovery Camp in England, in the magical city of Winchester! ✨

Every single day there was full of new experiences: we practiced English in everyday life, took part in fun activities, played exciting games, and made friends with kids from all over the world. We explored the city, strolled through its cozy streets, and discovered its history and culture.

During the camp, we also had the chance to visit several amazing places:

  • Bath — an ancient city with Roman baths that impressed us with its beautiful architecture and timeless atmosphere. We walked through Georgian streets and learned a lot about Roman traditions.
  • London — the capital where modern life meets history. We saw the famous Big Ben, walked along the River Thames, and admired the grandeur of this incredible metropolis.
  • The British Museum — a huge museum filled with treasures from all around the world. We admired ancient artifacts, mummies, and works of art that told stories of different cultures.
  • The Titanic Museum — located in Southampton, this place brought the story of the legendary ship to life. The exhibits showed not only the ship itself but also the lives of people from that era, making our visit truly fascinating.

This experience gave us countless bright memories, wonderful new friends, and an incredible desire to keep exploring the world! 🌍💫

Our camp: discos and lessons we’ll never forget 💃🎭

One of the highlights of the camp was the evening discos — a big hall, upbeat music, dancing until late at night, and meeting students from all over the world.

During the day, we had amazing lessons.

At the debate class, we discussed important topics — from environmental protection to freedom of speech — shared our thoughts in English, and learned to listen to others. 🌍 — shared Masha.

In drama class, we prepared a performance of “Pride and Prejudice.” Rehearsals, costumes, learning lines, and teamwork made the whole process incredibly fun. When the performance day came, the final applause was simply unforgettable! 💫 — said Varvara.

English lessons helped us not only improve our language skills but also become more confident in communication.

The camp gave us knowledge, friends, and a ton of wonderful memories. 💙

This trip was a true adventure that changed the way we see the world and gave us priceless experiences. We not only improved our English but also became more confident and open-minded.

We’ll remember this journey forever — as one of the best summers of our lives! ❤
