Jonathan worked with Svitlo Education for many years as our partner in his role as a CEO of Future Foundations. In 2025 he joined Svitlo' School's Ukrainian branch of the charity as a trustee. He is an award-winning social entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience designing programmes that help young people develop leadership, wellbeing and real-world skills through action in their communities. He has partnered with organisations including Vodafone, McKinsey, Amazon Web Services, the LEGO Foundation and the UK Government, and led national delivery of the National Citizen Service across nine cities, earning a Department for Education Character Award. He co-founded Global Social Leaders in 2013, supporting over 10,000 young people to deliver 3,500 projects in 100 countries, and founded CanTeam in 2023, which was named Co-Winner of the Big Education Challenge by Big Change in 2024 for transforming school canteens into community hubs. He is a Fellow of the RSA, an Enactus Global Alumnus, serves on advisory boards including The Divergent School Group, Future Solutions, DISHED and the British International School of Ukraine, and is a Trustee of Svitlo Education Ukraine.
