As we step into 2026, we are proud to share Svitlo’s 2025 Impact Report, a reflection on a year defined by growth, resilience and collective achievement. The past year has been one of extraordinary commitment from our students, volunteers, partners and supporters, all united by a shared belief in the power of education.

We are profoundly grateful to our partners, donors and volunteers whose generosity and dedication make our work possible. Your support brings light in moments of darkness and helps sustain hope during uncertain times. Every lesson taught, every student supported and every new programme is a testament to your belief in our mission to empower Ukraine’s future political, social and business leaders to become confident global citizens. 

At the heart of this report are our students. Their determination, curiosity and optimism continue to inspire us daily, and this Impact Report is a tribute to the hope and energy they bring. 

Over the past year, Svitlo reached new milestones:

• Supported 919 students attending Svitlo this academic year 
• Offered 39 Summer School places to our students 
• Taught from 18 countries around the world
• Welcomed 43 new dedicated volunteers  
• Averaged 97 lessons per week 
• And more!

‍Innovation, Growth and New Programmes ‍

Our Impact Report also highlights several exciting pilot projects and programme launches throughout 2025. Among these was Svitlo’s First Alumni Camp, providing our 18-year-old pupils with a cultural exchange in London, designed to tailor support as they navigate higher education and career opportunities. 

We also introduce our Language and Leadership Programme, made possible thanks to the generous support of Nova Ukraine. This programme demonstrates an important step in expanding Svitlo’s educational offering, combining advanced language learning with leadership development. 

We are also delighted to announce our new partnership with Citibank, who will sponsor Svitlo’s work in Ukraine over the coming year. This vital support has enabled us to: 

• Open a Svitlo School branch in Ukraine
• Expand our Team
• Launch a new digital learning platform 
• Expand our outreach to more children across Ukraine
